Our Mission

We will row two seventeen foot Van Duyne Surf Boats nearly 1500 miles - from Boca Raton, FL to Sea Isle City, NJ - between June 13 and August 1 in order to raise money for autism awareness and research. In fact, we want to raise $250,000 for the Autism Society of America. Why do we have such an ambitious goal? Because we are commited to helping those affected by autism.

Autism not only affects those who are diagnosed, but also their families. Oprah, Jenny McCarthy and other sources report the divorce rate among families with an autistic child north of 80%. While the research currently being conducted on Autism is making progress, we are still many miles away from where we need to be. It is our sincere hope that the the generous donations you make will help narrow the gap between where we are now and where we need to be to find the cause and more efficient treatments for Autism.
